Easy Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

The other night for dinner I was craving carbs big time for some reason. We had leftover chili and I feel like you need some kind of carb with chili. Don’t you agree? Cornbread, tortilla chips, fritos. I’m not picky. So in an attepmt to fill that carb dream with something on the healthier side, I whipped up these guys and they turned out great! Super easy and so fluffy and warm. I had to share!

Cheddar Garlic Biscuits// makes 6

1 1/2 cups bisquick heart smart mix

1/2 cup skim or low-fat milk

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 Tbs. melted butter

//recipe adapted from skinnytaste//

Preheat the oven to 450. Mix the bisquick mix, milk, cheese and 1 clove of minced garlic in a bowl. Form into balls and place on a sprayed down cookie sheet. Bake for 7-9 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter and add the other minced clove of garlic and allow to sit while the biscuits bake. When there are two or so minutes left, pull the biscuits out, brush with garlic butter, sprinkle with some cheese, and place them back in the oven to finish cooking. See?! EASY! Hope you enjoy! –Ashley
